Day 1 – Tarangire National Park

Pick up from your Arusha hotel at 0730. Drive to Tarangire National Park, which is home to a large population of baobab trees and elephants. Tarangire National Park is a wonderful place to observe four of the Big 5: the African elephant, lions, leopards, and buffaloes.  During the dry season, when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area, the big five are easy to identify. Begin your big 5 journey today with a safari in the park and lunch at one of the picnic areas. After lunch, continue your safari till the evening, when you will drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Tarangire National Park

Go on an early morning game drive after breakfast.  Savor the stunning scenery, interactions with several lions, huge herds of elephants, and a variety of other animals that visit the water source. The part of famous African big five—the African elephant, lions, leopards, and buffaloes—will be on display for you to see. Lunch will be served to you in a park picnic area. After lunch, carry on with the game drive. In the evening, make your way to your lodging for dinner and the night.

Day 3 – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we begin our Big Five adventure with an exhilarating walking safari through the park. Enjoy a one-of-a-kind opportunity to discover and study the African bush, as well as to see the animals up close. Feel the earth beneath your feet and become a natural part of the landscape. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger for protection and comfort. Following the walking safari, have a wildlife drive across the park, with a lunch stop in the afternoon.  After the safari, drive to your accommodation for dinner and stay.

Day 4 – Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater is Tanzania’s greatest place to see the Big 5. Visitors to the Crater can witness the entire list of the big five animals. The big five of Ngorongoro Crater are elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos, all of which can be observed on the Ngorongoro Crater floor at any time of year. Descend into the stunning landscape of the Ngorongoro Crater and marvel at the extraordinary density of wildlife before heading to a private picnic area on the crater floor for lunch. This natural amphitheater, surrounded by steep walls, shelters a thriving environment, earning it UNESCO World Heritage status and becoming one of Africa’s most popular safari locations. The crater, the world’s largest uninterrupted caldera, is a natural wonder and wildlife haven. After Safari, drive to Karatu Town for Dinner and overnight.
